The London Mozart Players are a versatile ensemble that ranges in size from a full chamber orchestra (around 40 musicians) to smaller groups, all the way down to trios and quartets. This is one of the ensemble's greatest strengths: being able to perform any type of chamber music in venues both big and small. Sometimes a concert will be performed without a conductor and the Leader, David Juritz, directs the ensemble from the violin, as was usual performance practice in the eighteenth century. Being the longest-established chamber orchestra in the UK they have performed on some of the biggest and most prestigious stages worldwide, including a rendition of Mozart's Requiem as part of Mozart's bicenntial at St Paul's Cathedral, and we are thrilled that they will be adding Wellington College to this list!
The following pupils from Wellington College will be joining the London Mozart Players in this ‘side by side’ concert: Sammie Tse, Francesca King, Harry Lei, Natasha Carolides, Mako Ikeno, Francesca Gilbert, Imogen Halsey, Elena Carolides, Rebecca Patrick-Patel, Kay Salomon, Garry Zhang and Tim Chan.
